Being social is a basic human need. It’s also something we often take for granted until we can no longer do it. Social distancing, or the act of removing yourself from society for an extended period of time, can be done voluntarily and unexpectedly.
It can be hard to do social distancing on your own. It can seem like there are not many people around who you know or who you might want to be friends with. But the internet is full of people coming up with new ideas, inventing new sports and pastimes. You can also try this list of 20 things that might help.
1. Keep a Routine
We all had routines when things were not chaotic. Now is a time when we need to stick to our routines even more. If you work from home, it can be easier to make your own schedule and follow your routine. But it is important to keep doing the same thing so that when you go back to work and life is normal again, it won’t be a big surprise.
2. Watch NETFLIX Shows.
Netflix has a lot of good series. I recently finished a bunch of different episodes of one show and almost watched all the shows on my Netflix account.
I want to watch the other content that is available in different regions of Netflix. I searched for it and found out how to watch the different region content on Netflix using VPNs. And now I will do so because this time it is my super entertainment system, and I am interested in watching all sorts of different content.
3. Create a workspace
It is ok to wear your pajamas every day. But it may not be good for you. To stay in shape, get up and dress like you would on any other day. You don’t need to put on fancy clothes, just shower, change your clothes, and act like anyone else would in this situation.
If you work from home, it is easy to think that you work from bed. But this will not be good for your mental health. If your home is small, then at least make a part of the room as an office and do not sleep there.

Sitting in front of the TV can make you feel bored. One way to keep from feeling this way is to do the work that you have not done before.

12. Try to learn new skills
It’s never too late to learn something new. If you want to learn a new language, how to fix your bike, or play an instrument, now is the time!
Dust off your old guitar and learn (or re-learn) how to play! There are many things on YouTube you can ask questions about. It will keep boredom away, and it might make your brain stronger too.
